What Undermines Trust in Brands? Suggestion for moving towards a more responsible use of data

This is a presentation I gave at the 2012 Quadriga University Social Media Confererence, 4 May, Amsterdam.

It was an opportunity to discuss some of the opportunities and challenges that the ever increasing amount of data available gives organisations. I suggest that we need to go beyond leaving discussions of privacy and data usage to the privacy policy and legislators. This is about, hats, trust and corporate culture. At the end of the presentation I have a suggestion for how we might take this forward – Corporate Data Responsibility. It needs work, so I’d be grateful for further thoughts.
