Telling Tales with Digital Media

These are the slides for the first week of a three week series of talks to the MA students of Creative Entrepreneurship and the University of East Anglia (London campus). Students on the course come from a wide variety of creative practices and this year is no exception, with an opera singer, poet, photographer, a few writers and comic artist, all with different experiences of using digital media. The course is run by Ian Chance, who kindly gives me quite a bit of free reign in what I look at and teach. I therefore aim to consider what would be valid for as many people as possible and reflect both the creative and entrepreneurship angles of the course. This year I decided to split the my sessions into:
Week 1 – What’s possible?
Week 2 – Let’s build something
Week 3 – Let’s market it

Just in case you’re wondering about the goose photograph, it features in the presentation.

Understanding the latest Facebook changes and their implications

It also goes through a few other changes that have recently taken place on Facebook that people may not be aware of.
