Searchme: it’s rather beautiful, with touches of Quintura’s visual approach to search, similarities with Maholo’s categorisation and a Mac-esque interface. Launched yesterday in private beta (sign up for an account on the home page) it’s already beginning to gather interest from the likes of TechCrunch and BoomTown.
Yet, however good any search engine, however great the interface, technology, returned results or usability, the hardest thing to still overcome is the massive brand awareness of Google.
